MOM/SON SWEETEST DAY DANCE
Hey guys ask your Mom or your favorite gal to the second Annual Sweetest
Day Dance. Show her your best dance moves and have the time of your life.
This event that will be a great experience to be remembered forever. Refreshments,
commemorative photo and fun for all attendees. Ladies will receive a corsage
at the dance. Activity Code
Ages: Boys 3 and up
Date: Saturday, April 18th
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Location: GK Middle School
Fee: $25.00 per couple, $10.00 each additional child
Fee at the door: $28.00 per couple, $12.00 each additional child
Canoe
Rental
Yes you can rent canoes from the Genoa Park District and enjoy a few hours
on the Kishwaukee River. We have up to 4 canoes that may be rented during
the week as well as weekends. The park district staff will drop you off
and pick you up. You just need to pick the day (we request a one week
notice for weekends and two days notice during the week) view the rules
and register at the park district. The trip last approximately 1.5 to
2.5 hours and must be completed by 4:30 p.m. Life jackets are provided
and must be worn. A $100 deposit is required.

Are you planning a day of fun and excitement this summer? Let the Genoa
Park District help you do it at a more affordable price. We have reduced
admissions tickets to Six Flags Great America & Six Flags Hurricane
Harbor. You will not have many opportunities to get tickets at these great
daily prices. No waiting in ticket lines when you arrive at the park.
The general admission price will be $34.00 and is for participants 48”
and taller. Let us help you enjoy a day of excitement at an affordable
price. This price allows you a daily entry to Six Flags Great America
and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. (Fright fest is excluded from this special
price).
CONCERTS IN THE PARK:
Come join us for some enjoyable music this summer with our new concerts
in the park. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and sit back and relax
and enjoy the summer nights with the sound of music. We are offering a
great different variety of music that your family will enjoy. Due to our
generous sponsors, all concerts will be free of charge.

TOUCH A TRUCK
New this year at Chamberlain Park will be our Touch A Truck event! Bring
your little one’s and we’ll give them a chance to experience
the “BIG TRUCKS” hands on. Join the Park District for this
FREE event in the Parking lot at the Park District Administration Office.

CUBS
VERSUS HOUSTON ASTROS
Join us as we travel into the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. Travel
is by coach bus and we will stop in Hampshire to pick up additional Cubs
Fans. Tickets are Terrace Reserved Outfield, game time is 1:20pm. Age
15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Date: Wednesday, July 29th
Registration Deadline July 13th although it may sell out prior.
Depart: 9:30am
Return: approximately 7pm (we will stay for extra innings)
Location: Chamberlain Park
Fee: $65.00 resident discount, $70.00 non-resident
CUBS VERSUS BREWERS
Enjoy the ride in an air-conditioned coach bus as we head to Miller Park
to see a great rivalry and explore the stadium. Sign up early as these
tickets will go fast. Game time is 6:00 pm. This is a cooperative trip
with Belvidere Park District and we will stop there to pick up additional
Cub Fans.
Ages: 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult
Date: Saturday, May 9th
Registration Deadline: April 25th although it may sell out prior.
Depart: 1:45 pm
Return: approximately 12am Sunday (we will stay for extra innings)

Fee: $60.00 resident discount, $70.00 non-resident
